This was my entry for the a competition that's topic was 'Water'.

As an entrant we were all giving the same topic and we had to produce a design, short movie or similar around the topic of wateras a resource, how we use it, or as a material. The final product basically had to address and issue relating to water or show water as a material to be used.

From this I decided to challange myself to make a short film, it had to be no longer than 3 minutes.

I went on to do research and most of the videos about water were of similar style and were giving me simialr mesages. I wanted to make people think about water and out use of it without making my video the same as all the other ones I had seen.

Thats when I came to the idea of comparing daily tasks we do with water. I would show a clip of the task as it should eb then a clip of the task without water.

I wanted my video to make people feel like it could be them. I wabted it to feel raw, in the sence that the sound wasn't perfect and the footage and location made you feel like you were there, at home.

I believe it worked and achieved the desired out come.
