Gate of Beginning is the genesis of my NFT project “The Else World” that is mainly inspired by my journey as a depression survivor, with influences from fantasy literature and video games that I highly enjoyed growing up.

 

The idea behind this artwork comes from the question “How come we never see the beginning of our dream?” We are always smack dab in the middle of the action, are we not?

 

Hence I imagine this gate as the ancient yet timeless location locked deep within the most hidden layers of our subconscious, an inheritance from those who came before us.  It is the place where we all start our inner world, our dream world.
