The etymology of the word conversation is to turn together. The Architects’ Council of Europe work on behalf of the various European Architects’ organisations at an EU level. They lobby, engage in dialogue and hold meaningful conversations together with policy and law makers. The concept behind the Council’s identity comes from the meaning of the word conversation – to turn together. Everything from the photography to graphic elements, language and custom display font are driven by the concept, to turn together. Photographs show organic shadows turning with buildings and materials. Graphic spaces show inviting corners to turn towards new spaces. And the custom font is designed using two turning lines and works with twenty two languages.
