Funded by a network of community retailers and business partners in central Connecticut, the Hometown Foundation has been supporting a broad range of charitable initiatives since its inception in 2002. Its areas of concentration range from caring for animals in need to advocating for the interests of emergency support workers.
Birdies & Horsepower is an annual event that funds the Hometown Foundation’s Major Illness Pillar. The 2022 edition will take place on June 9 at the Farmington Polo Club. A day-long event, Birdies & Horsepower will begin with a golf tournament complete with welcome cocktails and a catered lunch. Other highlights of the event include a car show, a polo match, and a live auction.
