Conciencia Performa is a project born from the search for four
main objectives: to bring life back to a central street in the city of Madrid, to bring fashion closer to ordinary people, making it stop being perceived as something exclusive for the elite and unattainable for the majority, to provide opportunities by creating work and training people at a professional level, and reach the public to transmit and inform them about current problems in our society through fashion and performance.

If two disciplines such as fashion and performance have been chosen, it has been because, after studying the situation, it has been seen that in order to bring messages to the public and create an impact on them, you have to generate something very visual and that really appeals to them. attention, and both fashion and performance are great communication weapons.

To reach people, a series of events are going to be created, and from there another of the concerns of the project is born, to be able to produce everything that is going to be used in said events, thus supporting local businesses and workers and students, while giving them an opportunity to show their talent, and trying to reduce pollution as much as possible, especially in transport, as well as in the manufacture and components of the materials used, to which special attention will also be paid.

In order to carry out these events in the manner explained above, a street in the center of the city whose use is currently practically nil will be used, and a series of spaces will be created in it to work and study everything necessary for these projects to function properly and successfully.

In these spaces there will be mainly two phases of activity: when parades and performances are taking place, and when work is being done to achieve them, which is why the same spaces will have different uses depending on the time of year.

After studying the operation of this type of activity, the conclusion is reached that the necessary spaces are the following: a meeting area for designers, a rest area, a sewing workshop, a warehouse, an open space to practice performances, dress and makeup areas and, of course, a catwalk and a stage.
