How do you define a 'Tourist'? Is it by their spoken language? Appearance? Body language?
Going by the assumptions of these characterists I created my project '100 Tourists' spring last year where I approached people in the streets of London, asked them if they were visiting, had a chat with them and then asked if they'd allow me to take their photograph for my project. All the people that participated within my project were in fact visiting London, many enjoying the sights with their family and friends. It was very interesting to see the differences in the vast amount of people I came across, and it also proved to me that we can't always go by our assumptions.
This was my final display of my '100 Tourists'.
