Re-Covering Nick Cave
I've always been a fan of Nick Cave's music. But not so much of some of his album covers during the early years of The Bad Seeds.
I understand that a close up of Cave's face in most of the albums is key to build layers of myth around his theatrical rockstar persona, but as I am a low-key mythomaniac, I decided to remake some of the covers, appropiating and recontextualizing references extracted from art history, just as our beloved australian author did with Americana to create his own iconography.
