Dotview (formerly 257.com) is a magazine that investigates the impact of web on print and our reading behaviours. For the first issue of dotview, I tried to answer the question: "Is Google Making Us Stupid?" by Nicholas Carr. My illustrations for that issue bring the new shiny digital world and the old print world together: I combined digitals symbols like the Twitter Bird, Google, RSS Reader or the mouse click witth old engravings and people like Descartes and Gutenberg - who had no idea that one day their ideas would be translated into bits and bytes.
This magazine was designed during my Exchange Semester at the York University Toronto, Canada, in the Class of Paul Sych.
