Rann of Kutch: A travelogue

KUTCH, GUJARAT (2019)

"Kutch nhi dekha toh kuch nhi dekha"

I love to travel to places where mother nature is at its best!
'Rann of Kutch' is the only destination which I went to visit without 'researching' about it. And that's what made it even more special.

The place spoke for itself! What most people still don't know, is that it's not a white desert but a Salt marsh. The Salt Desert surely deserves the limelight, but the place also has an intriguing history, rich culture, appetising food and truly creative art forms, textiles and handicrafts.

Apart from beautifully crystallized salt spread as far as the eye can see, I saw shipbuilding for the first time! Getting to know the place and its warm people was an enriching and wholesome experience that I will cherish for a lifetime.

- A traveller who couldn't get enough of this place
