This was a 105-year labor of love. Well, a 5-year labor of love for me about my great-grandmother who lived to be 100 and was a joy to spend time with. (She passed away in 2017.)

I collected recipes, family and friends' stories, family tree details, photos, videos, notes from conversations with her - along with researching local history and digging up old newspaper ads and articles near the time of her birth to set the mood. 

My grandmother saw so much change in her 100 years. One of my favorite aspects of the magazine is a 100+ year timeline that runs along the bottom of each page. In it I highlight family events and national and international moments.
