YCN Awards - Fedrigoni Imaginative Colours

The aim of this brief was to create an integrated campaign to promote Fedrigoni’s new Imaginative Colours tool. The tool consists of four fan style paper booklets divided into sections of warm, cool and neutral. It contains 262 samples of paper which enable graphic designers to choose the best shade or most suitable surface.
My idea was to create an interactive event which would allow the guests to become part of creating a paper installation. The guests will receive an invitation that contains one sheet of paper from either the warm, cool or neutral range, along with a sheet of instructions which will show them how to make an origami flower. Each of the ranges will have a flower allocated to them; roses for warm, tulips for neutral and lilies for cool. The guests will be asked to bring their flower along to the event where there will be a bed made of origami stems. Everybody will place their flowers on a stem and once the installation is complete the guests will be able see all the colours in the range in the style of a flower bed. These photographs show the 90 flowers and 90 stems I made as a small sample of what the flower bed would look like at the event. I also made a range of 3 posters to advertise the tool which would be shown in magazines etc.
