A collaboration work with my friend @aan_ozy we made back in 2019.
I did the concept design and illustration of the soldiers and the monster (Buto) while later he make this delicate animation using the puppet animation technique of his expertise.
Inspired by one of ten different kind of troops in Kraton Yogyakarta Hadiningrat. this troops called Jagakarya, derivated from the word 'jaga' (guarding) and 'karya' (task). so, it has meaning that Jagakarya are the troops that have the task to guarding the kingdom. in here I had the idea to make them had fight with Buto, the representation of evil force and succeeded then marching back home to Kingdom of Yogyakarta.
