Ranche means a crowd of people.
Some old locals said the festival is about gathering as many people together in order to share love for life in such a common land (on the top of the hills).
The continous dances of Shamans with the beat of traditional drums was a great joy to experience. It was good to see the hundreds of colorful-clothed-people walking here and there ; some singing, some dancing, Some selling, some buying, some eating, some playing, some drinking but all very happy.
