Urban Crust was my final MA thesis study project. The notion of the project was reagading the idea of initiating once traditional industries which existed in Cities back into London. My chosen site for this reintegration of a heavy industrial within London was at the back of Kings Cross station. With a plethora of regeneration taking place in the area I wanted to fight against this shiny new modernism apparing at each corner and slice through the space with a more heavy and functional structure. Brick became my process of experimenting using varying materials and forms. More of this is shown in the section models and experiments.
