(WIP) Teacher — Type System

In the elementary school, we had the first contact with calligraphy. We tried, and we failed, to draw those shapes. We needed guidance. We useed dashed lines, we copied samples in repeat. It was a trial, and failure process.
In high school, mainly in law, and accountancy courses, it was mandatory to experience more complex scripts. When writting legal documents, there were no room for mistakes. It should look legible, but also appealing. In Portugal, these courses lasted until the 1980's, when they were extinct.
When I started the graduation at the faculty, I was able to know more about calligraphy. Firstly, I drew the Capitalis Quadrata. Then, the evolution of the handwritting. More projects related to calligraphy came along.
During these years, I noticed that some authors have tried to sistematize the scripts. They tried to make it simpler to teach. They focused, mainly, on British, French, and German scripts.
Since then, I started to search for, and gather more information, either with my teachers, or with old books from those schools. I was surpried on how many authors wrote about this subject. They showed the history behind the script, the steps to follow, and the accuracy of each movement of the pen.
Right now, I am exploring these methods, and adapting to other scripts. I think it is interesting to revitalize, and to write about, the evolution of those shapes to the digital form. Also, I see potential for multiple weights, and, possibly, develop versions for text (more discreet), and titles (more exuberant). Below, are some results of the research, and sistematization. I tried to organize by country.
