My Three (3) Favourite Colours
(1) Deep Velvet-y Red

Deep, velvet-y red is my favourite colour because it allows me to feast with my eyes.  This strong, bold colour elicits emotion for me and often causes me to feel nostalgic.  It is always the first colour of fabric I run to regardless of whether or not it is suitable for a project -- you could call it my "go-to" colour.  This red is vintage, dramatic, sexy, and full of energy.
(2) Midnight Blue

Midnight blue is my second-favourite colour.  It is moody, melancholic and poetic.  It is a colour that reminds me of luxury and lends itself well to fabric with a lot of lustre.  It is a colour that allows me to feel sadness if I need to.  A winter sky at night, bulleted with stars is one of my favourite views.
(3) Valley Green

Another favourite colour of mine is valley green.  It is inviting and calming.  My first ever encounter with mountains came in the summer months during a vacation with my family through the Swiss Alps.  Normally when you think of mountains you think of greys and whites, and that's true with winter-scapes, but you've never seen such a range of greens like that of a mountain pasture in summer.  This green allows me to clear my head of clatter.
