Cap Preserving Bottle Opener

This design is a device I created to fulfill my personal desire to preserve the condition of traditional bottle caps while still opening the beverage. I was inspired by the elegant design of the corked bottle opener used for wine. Instead of a crudely deforming the cap metal, this design secures to the to the cap and applies gentle force on the edges which hold the cap to the bottle. Using a screw motion similar to the wine opener, this device applied an even force on 6 hooked prying arms. These arms pull evenly on the cap edges at a 45 degree angle. This upward and outward force releases the cap from the bottle with no visible deformation. The rubber pad on the bottom side of the device also ensures that the top of the cap remains flat and protected.

Upward and outward force evenly applied to six broad points on the caps edge release the hold with no noticeable cap deformation. A rubber pad on the bottom also ensures that the top of the cap remains flat and protected. The removed cap condition is perfect compared to alternative methods.
The product is made from corrosion resistant brass and stainless steel. It is a sophisticated opening tool for beer enthusiasts and aficionados who prefer to save the caps of rare and unique beers they consume. The device also includes the two other opening methods as an option for the user.
The device integrates the two traditional opening tools into the handle. This allows the user to revert to using these methods for the sake of speed or guest preference. It is also be easier to introduce this product to hesitant beer consumers and bartenders who are familiar with old methods.
