Print Design for Savile Row- CG Club of Gents

A live print project done in collaboration with CG Club of Gents' subline Savile Row, during an exchange semester at Hof University of Applied Sciences, Germany. The brief was to create prints that could be used for pocket squares or blazer linings that fit the Spring Summer 2020 collection theme of British Horse Racing.

The final design that was bought by CG Club of Gents, as seen on the pocket squares sported at the collection launch event at the prestigious Mariendorf racecourse in Berlin. It was also sold under the brand.
While creating prints for the theme, I chose to focus on jockeys and their colourful jerseys apart from the horses and spectators. The look had to be classy yet young and fun keeping in mind the target buyers. The brand’s esprit originates from London and so the Brit-pop influence in their styles and themes is reflective.

We had the chance to visit the headquarters to get a better understanding of their brand's design language and feedback through the design process before a final presentation. A few of the iterations before reaching the final design are below.
