ORDINE ARCHITETTI DI MILANO
WEBDESIGN
The Ordine e Fondazione degli Architetti di Milano challenged Parco Studio with the digital transformation of their sites, sharing for the first time in a single online space dedicated not only to architects, but to the whole city of Milan and to people who have a passion for architecture from all over Italy.
The new website is based on the vision of OAMi and its Foundation that architecture and landscape are a collective cultural heritage. Thanks to the new website designed by Parco Studio, this heritage is now accessible due to the simple and immediate possibility of sharing content.
The two societies, OAMi and Fondazione OAMi, tell their story in two vertical sections by detailing their history, the administrative part, the technical-scientific committee, the board of directors and paying particular attention to transparency, offering regulatory and administrative references and a code of ethics.
The core, the register and its 12,000 architects, has been renewed to raise awareness and knowledge of the members skills through the public space and improving the interaction between the OAMi and the members. It becomes a promotional tool to the activities and skills of individual architects.
At the same time, a private area was developed where the individual member can manage the account, personal preferences, interests and areas of activity – each member may register to training/educational events, to be followed in person, e-learning or webinar mode.
Profession, training and culture are the three keywords describing the entire offer of OAMi and the OAMi Foundation, divided up into events, services, tools: architectural itineraries, exhibitions, meetings, and a large specialized library are just some of the areas of a completely renovated site. The contents of the three sections are identified by a color, which makes them recognizable throughout the whole website.
To highlight the historical archive, the itineraries of modern Milanese architecture and online maps with archive images have been redesigned. The video contents of the Foundation are made accessible free of charge, as a precious testimony of the social value of projects dedicated to a wider audience.
