Can Art Save The Planet

Can Art Save The Planet (CASTP) was a series of conferences, meetings and webinars responding to the current challenges faced by art and culture in the era of progressing climate change. The events were aimed at introducing ecological issues in a way that enabled the exchange of experiences between Poland and Germany.
Meetings were recorded and publish in Spotify as a series of podcasts, which can be listened here.

Idea of creating identification for this project was revolving around sphere as obvious representation of the Earth. Gradient from warm orange-red colors at the bottom to cold grays and blues at the top represented the process of global warming of the planet.
The final element of the sign was a skewed bold line running on the top of the sphere. The line was tilted to set the angle of 66,33°, which is the angle of Earth's axis. Line is also a symbol of crossing out as a question if it's not too late for changes.
In order to withstand the weight of axis/cross line the title of the event was bordered in a thick borders.
From few propositions one was picked for identification of the event. Identification consisted of facebook cover photos, spotify cover album, information for TV and projector screens and – still in production – a summarizing publication.
