Pasta Package, 2012, 300*80*20, Acrylic, Adobe Illustration and Photoshop program

 

It is not rare to see the old-fashioned scene in a movie or a TV where the male and female characters kiss each other while eating pasta so I thought it would be a good idea of associating the scene with my pasta package.

I wanted to produce a package by providing a retro sense with the use of Italy famous for pasta.  I draw and scanned kissing children on the cover of the package in a retro style. The package box is covered by vintage colors, and its inside is designed with a red checked pattern like a tablecloth to add a sense of vintage. When the box is pulled toward the both sides, the pasta and the logo ‘A Kiss For Pasta’ appear. When it is pushed towards the inside, a girl and a boy kisses each other. On the back side of the internal package, there are a product description, a pasta recipe and a bar code.
