Mapúa Cardinal Notes is a student handbook produced every start of the school year for freshmen and under graduates.

And this year as Mapúa Institute of Technology held it's 90th anniversary, they commenced the first competition to design the 2015 Cardinal Notes.

Below is my entry that made it through the front cover of the 2015 Mapua Cardinal Notes.

"eXCellence, eXCeedance, eXCeptionalism: Mapúa @ 90; As the Mapúa Institute of Technology celebrates its 90th year, I designed the 2015 Cardinal Notes to be UNIQUE and EXCEPTIONAL. Large 'XC' letters that represent the Roman numeral for '90' are embedded as the focus of the design with images of nature and gears as its background. Moreover, the Cardinal in flight signifies every Mapuan soaring for excellence. the design itself signifies the 90 years of MIT's compassion for environmentalism, technology, and excellence which every Mapuan builder embodies as well"
