The Infinite Story (flip book folded in a manner where the story always continues). It tells the story of a prince challenging a dragon to save the damsel in distress, but once the princess disapproves of him, the dragon makes room for the next suitor. Digitally drawn with Autodesk sketchbook and assembled manually with folded Bristol and rubber cement.
Mandala design, one based off of bird feathers (digitally created using Adobe Illustrator) and one based off bird cages (manually created using pen and paper). The digital mandala was later colored with various color schemes.
Shape Grammar, created a movement-based design using one basic shape, then extruding the once-2D design upwards into a 3D structure. All handcrafted using Bristol.
Photoshop collage that is the visual representation of Gary Soto's poem, "Oranges." The collage is meant to evoke nostalgia and create feelings of happiness associated with innocence and childhood, and finding love in the coldest of places.
In the years 2016-2020, I was a student in my high school's Interactive Media program, a career technical program with a focus in graphic design and its various applications. Below is a selection of a few of my favorite projects over the years:
- A new logo design for my high school's choir department,
- A parody cereal box design (a Star Wars twist on Front Loops), created in Illustrator
- A poster for my hometown's Memorial Day Parade celebration, honoring fallen soldiers
- Stage signage for our school musical, Newsies, framing the stage like a newspaper
