Sardinha Selo
Sardinha selo is an illustration drawn within the participation on the Concurso Sardinhas Festas de Lisboa '21 contest. The concept for this sardine is based on the representation of such an iconic element of the communication established between people and nations: the postcard stamp.
The theme of the stamp is inspired by a portuguese revolution for the end of the dictatorship back in 1974. Called "25 de Abril" this revolution was marked by a partiular flower: the carnation. A woman went on the streets and distributed these flowers to the soldiers, making them an importante symbol, hence their representation on the this stamp.
