Typographic representation of the word "supertemporal". I explored a variety of options, but this concept, playing with depth and a tangible, impenetrable surface seemed to be most successful.

 

 

 

 

"Flight of the Valkyries"

"Now bridle your horses, cavalry maidens, for a furious battle is about to blaze."

 

A typographic representation of my impressions of the music and themes of Wagner's work. Created using handlettered transparencies curled around each other. I envisioned the Valkyries pouring out of the sky, strong and delighted, waiting for the best warriors to fall in battle to take them to Valhalla.
