Large-Scale Poster
Gathered from the microfilm archives of the New York Public Library, the images compiled to create this poster each depict a segment of the city's history. Selected from internationally circulated publications, these images act as a reflection of how New York City was projected to the world from the close of World War II to the final moments of the Vietnam War. Much like the experience of viewing microfilm, this composition acts as a hazy collage of many moments, broadly depicting the scope of three decades.
