War in Iraq
My concept was to illustrate the war in Iraq as not simply a war of guns and explosives, but as the inability of the American soldiers, Iraqi combatants, the Iraqi civilians, and all sides involved to understand, communicate with, and agree with each other.
The final project for my Narrative Sketchbook class: to make a would-be on-location narrative using the New Yorker article Soldiers' Stories as a jumping-off point.
