This is my entry for Adobe Substance 3D's The Great Shoecase. This shoe is inspired by the Mountains of Japan that are home to beautiful Cherry Blossom Trees. Cherry Blossom flowers are embroidered into the shoes upper in a vibrant pink that mimics the color of Cherry Blossom flowers. 

The cages of the shoe, alongside the heel counter and toe cap, incorporate imagery of the tree branches with butterflies surrounding them. Soft red leather accents can be found on the collar of the shoe and parts of the toebox to give it a refined, elegant feel.

The sole of the shoe contains imagery of flower petals falling into the lakes that surround Mount Fiji.

The lava ripples on the midsole pay homage to the volcanic mountains surrounding the Cherry Blossom trees. This imagery juxtaposed with the calamity of the trees and lake water throughout the shoe hints at the fact that chaos always surrounds serenity.
