Update: This work was approved by the PNLD (National Textbook Program). The PNLD is a program of the Ministry of Education of Brazil whose main objective is to evaluate and distribute didactic, pedagogical and literary books, universally and free of charge, to public schools in basic education networks throughout Brazil. The PNLD represents the largest educational material purchase program in the world, providing greater equity in access to quality training for all children enrolled in basic education.
"Numa pensão alemã" ("In a German Pension") is a 1911 collection of short stories by the writer Katherine Mansfield. In this project the book have a translation to the portuguese linguage for the demande of literary studies in the hightschools. In this project, the book is translated into Portuguese for the demand for literary studies in high school. Mansfield is an important writer whose works mark literature in terms of history, writing style and in discussions about women and society.
For this project, I made 17 illustrations, pieces for the book launch (postcard and promotional stickers) and visual pieces for the social network.
