Graphic Design Typography1-UX/UI Design Teaching Portfolio: Owings Mills, MD-Stevenson University: Utilized ADDIE, Adult Learning Theories(Graphic Design Pedagogy) and Business Analyst principles to mentor, monitor progress of 13 undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds. Utilized Agile face-to-face interactions and scrum design sprint-meetings (bi-weekly critique) to monitor learner and assignment progress, within three month timeframe. Focused typographic project-based learning assignments, conceptual development, addressing user experience/user interface (UX/UI) American Disabilities Act (ADA) Section 508/255 color design challenges, setting project scope, researching skills, concept mapping, storyboarding, user persona, card sorting, user flowchart making, collaborative problem-solving, wire framing, screen flow prototyping, and technical writing documentation, and planning pagination for software development.
Danger User Guide-Author: Elias used a proprietary technical writing formula to exclusively make it easy to document his process for software development. Students were taught principles of perception and graphic translation, such as line quality, line intent, line tension, line activity, and illusion of dimension.

Color Theory: Students used a proprietary color system exclusively to make it easy to address the behavior of color deficient users and multimedia. The empirical evidence to support the system is based on my MFA thesis: A Test for Color Appropriateness and Color Selections in Multimedia Design for Color Deficient Observers, see under MFA Thesis UX/UI & American Disabilities Act.
Directions: Use the same traditional color matching schemes except with color deficient palettes. Footnote: Elias the author of Danger brand is color deficient, he successfully applied the color deficient palettes because he could finally design and make sense of what he sees.
Danger Typographic Motion Graphic Title Sequence Exploration can also function as double page spreads.

Color Theory: American Disabilities Act (ADA) Color theory as A/B color testing allowed students to make careful visual changes to their user experiences on Macs/PCs while collecting data on results. Students used a proprietary color system exclusively to make it easy to address the behavior of color deficient users and multimedia. The empirical evidence to support the system is based on my MFA thesis: A Test for Color Appropriateness and Color Selections in Multimedia Design for Color Deficient Observers. Directions: Use the same traditional color matching schemes except with color deficient palettes. Plus, with Elias's help, his peers learned first hand if their color choices were Section 508/255 and W3C complaint.
User Persona Storyboarding: Childlike
User flow Information Architecture and User Flow of Learner Experience and screen flow.
Childlike User Guide: Author-Chloe: All students utilized the same proprietary technical writing formula to exclusively make it easy to discover the information needed to incorporate into their documentation process for software development. Technical documentation includes work like users guides and help files to help people understand how to use a product or service. Most important, the UAT is being field beta tested targeting seven years old. An early result showed when assigned a situational navigation start task the user was observed completing the task within 0.1sec response time according to the Jakob Nielsen scale: 0.1sec; 1.0 sec; and 10 secs.
Child like Ideation Sketches: Author-Chloe: Students are required to sketch before they migrate to the computer.
Child like Typographic Motion Graphic Title Sequence Exploration: As a rule of thumb design assets must first work as figure-ground before color exploration.
UGLY Screen flow and Marvel; Author-Michelle (Dismiss: sign up to collaborate...) Application:https://marvelapp.com/prototype/h534bda

Using the proprietary color system, Michelle achieved an aesthetically pleasing color combination that affected Elias behavior, and remained Section 508 and W3C complaint.
Typographic Lettering and Word Sigil Exercises: The core of any typographic undertaking begins with an exploration of letterform and strokes before student progress to the computer. Exercises that explore letterform strokes translates into stronger hand-eye coordination and improves the student's perceptual awareness of different area of the stroke. For example, the modified letter "E" in Elias "Danger" logo explores what's out/what's left by removing portions of the strokes and making changes in the speed of his curves enhances the communicate information or ideas. Typographic Pedagogy: Students were introduced to Robert Keough's adult learning theory and hand drawing methods of lettering derived from theorist materials by Rob Roy Kelly, Manfred Maier, and my mentor Eli Kince, who learned from Inge Druckrey. I introduced word-sigil as a brain storming exercise.
