"WHAT THE" Christmas Sweater Sneaker
The Great Showcase 2021
This is my design submission for the Adobe Substance 3D contest. I applied materials and color using Substance 3D painter and created a showcase render in Substance 3D stager.
The 3D model was provided by Adobe.
INSPIRATION
I wanted to have fun with this contest while learning how to use Substance painter & stager. I decided to design a sneaker inspired by Christmas. A Juxtaposition of different colors, materials, and patterns found in Christmas sweaters. I also added leather accents inspired by Santa Claus leather belt and boot. All of the materials I applied to the 3D model are from the assets library.

SHOWCASE NARRATIVE: "SNEAKERHEADS CHRISTMAS MORNING"
Growing up my parents would surprise us with new sneakers for Christmas. There were no words to describe the excitement of unwrapping presents and unboxing a new pair of sneakers. I wanted to capture that nostalgic moment with the lighting of Christmas morning and a close-up shot of the sneakers.
