This is a series of illustrations based on “The Crocodile” by K. Chykovsky. 

The project was created in 2021. All illustrations were made in gouache technique+ applique.

In my work I used fonts by soviet posters and prints by Vkhutemase’s fabric.

It’s a reference to the time period when “The Crocodile” was written. Also, appearance and absence of colors play an important role in my interpretation of the story.
