Národní galerie Praha and Studio Najbrt decided to update their communication of NGP Club of Friends and asked me to collaborate on this new approach. Previous communication and visuals were based
on different gallery artworks and its details and cutouts were used on different promo materials.
In new visuals, NGP wanted to shift focus to the visitors and friends themselves, show the gallery
as a meeting place where everyone is welcome to enjoy its collections and artworks, but also a place where you can just socialize and meet with friends and family.

This approach resonated with me and made it really easy for me to design a new poster, which became the base for other promo materials and applications.

1. Idea Proposal & Sketches

Since my first ideas were quite on point with what NGP had in mind, I could start sketching early on.

I started with some hand-drawn sketches of gallery spaces and people interacting within. I was trying some
generic gallery space and also spaces based on real NGP buildings from unusual perspective which would
allow me to show clearly all the characters.

2. Color Variants

All character and space designs were done in two color variants before final decision. In the end client decided
to go with "green option".

3. Character Design

Initial brief described seven characters, which were symbolizing seven different membership options of Club
of Friends. These were approved with minor changes to few characters, but we decided that we want more
and I had pleasure to fill the gallery with 21 characters!
