The Do Lectures are a series of lectures done a variety of differently skilled people but they all encourage people to ‘Do’ certain things. I had to reflect the Do lecture themes for national business leaders and involves creating a formal ‘publication’ that can be sent directly to the discerning eyes of the leading political, financial, social and religious players across the country. These are people who, up until this point, are unlikely to have engaged with either howies or the Do lectures, or may have been put off by the low-tec, grass-roots attitudes inherent in both.
The photos in my book came from the ideas + Energy = Change which is the Do Lectures strap line. I created the phrase out of ice then left it to melt, photographically documenting each stage. I chose ice as I felt it illustrates the phrase well as it goes through the same process when melting.
