The Electric Lemons are a (now defunct) 4-piece 'classic' rock band from Warsaw, Poland. They approached me to create a number of items to help raise the profile of the band. They needed a logo and an album cover designing for their up coming debut record release.
The typography for the logo was designed in the 1950’s ‘streamlined’ style to reflect the ‘electric’ part of their name. The album cover was designed to showcase the energy of the band and also reflect the throw away title of the album ‘Let's go Lemons’. To do so I initially made a photoshoot of the band running in a 'haphazard' manner, but when I put the cover together something was missing... the band weren't famous... to fix this I pasted lemons over their faces which (I think, and the band agreed) creates a much more striking cover.
