The Wind in the Willows

These illustrations were created for an exhibition during the summer titled 'The Book.' The exhibit was organised by the Evesham Illustration Society (EIS) to showcase some of the best artists and illustrators in the local area at the moment.
I decided to go for 'The Wind in the Willows' as I have fondness for depicting animals with human characteristics and the story was one of my favourites as a child.
I mainly used gouache paint for the colours before going over the outlines with fine tip pens. If you would like to know more, feel free to conact me via email or twitter.
