At the invitation of the musée des Arts décoratifs et du Design de Bordeaux (madd-bordeaux), as a 2nd year Bachelor Industrial Design student from ECAL, under the guidance of designers Erwan Bouroullec and Adrien Rovero, with the rest of the class we have given form to our observations and questions about the current agricultural situation. Real Facts is a collection of neophyte views of today's agriculture through the lens of design.
FACT #3: LABELLING
Organic, fair trade, animal welfare, vegan: there are more than a hundred different certifications on the French market.
The theme of our intervention was originally label tags.
Label tags are always there, but we rarely read them. As for labels, we rarely know what they really mean.

Later on, we focused our interest on the different organic labels that we could find on the products. There are so many different ones that we don't know anymore what they mean or which one to follow.
We designed sticker printer that, through out the day, prints different bio-labels with their basic information. We wanted to explain to the visitor that each bio-label is different and that they don't all respect the same standards.
