I did this design for a pattern design competition. The company is a textile design company and they

mainly produce blankets and rugs. The brief was to produce a South African Inspired pattern based design with a limited colour palette.

I chose two designs inspired by nature, one was inspired by the Rhino Beetle, which Is part of South Africa's Tiny Five. The other design was inspired by our National flower, the King Protea.
