On October 11, 2013 I married my BFF Gannon at the Durham County Courthouse. On the 12th we had the reception at Motorco Music Hall, one of our favorite places to hangout in Durham. Designing your own wedding invitations can be a daunting task, and it took me awhile to find a design direction that truly represented our personalities and the laid back atmosphere of our reception. In the end I kept the design simple yet playful, using bold colors and multiple pieces to create visual interest. I carried the invitation suite design to reception pieces like signage and button favors.
