To celebrate the launch of Soapbox & Sons and Behind the Beats, a group of respected beatboxers, artists, illustrators and designers came together by way of a rooftop party and art show in aid of The McGuire Programme, a speech recovery programme.
An eclectic collection of original artworks around the theme ‘communication’ were exhibited and sold at the event, with proceeds going to help The McGuire Programme continue its great work.
The colour palette was limited to the McGuire corporate colours and the artworks represented a song lyric. I chose the ever relevant RATM lyric pitched against caricatures of modern living, the oppressive state, fat cat bankers, puppet politicians and broken religious institutions.
