PAPAYA!
«Radioresepsjonen» («The radio reception» in English) was a Norwegian radio humour talkshow hosted by Steinar Sagen (host), Tore Sagen (technician) and Bjarte Tjøstheim (sidekick) from 2006-2021. It was the most podcasted radio show in the country, with over 200 000 downloads each month. «Radioresepsjonen» has developed cult status amongst a broad audience. In addition to their radio show, the trio has also had success with live shows, TV-shows and other podcasts.
After leaving NRK in 2021 for a new contract with Schibsted and the PodMe concept (exclusive rights), they needed a new name and identity. The name «PAPAYA» was chosen for it´s "stupidity" and "easy remebering". The identity is developed around dynamics built on radio signals, used as typography in several logo editions for adaptable formats in print and digital use.
