Posting a BTS scene each day this week over on our Instagram page at https://www.instagram.com/timwallace47/
that shows a little of what it's like behind the scenes doing different shoots.

A behind the scenes look at shooting the launch images in the Peugeot Design Centre Studio in Paris for the Fractal prototype before its unveiling at the Geneva Motorshow. Shoots like this are always under tight security with all the work being completed on site and behind closed doors so that nobody can see the new car before its launch.
This set was shot over a period of 4 days working 12-hour sessions to produce 48 images.
All the shots to be produced are already decided and I have print out sheets to use as reference and they are very accurate to the point where the angle and position have to be totally accurate to give the client what they want precisely.
In this shoot I working with 2 lighting assistants and all the lighting was from continuous units of varied power from 10k to 1k.
We used both black and white reflector boards a lot ion this shoot as the car was half bright white bodywork and half dark carbon fibre, so a challenge. Retouch was all done while I shot with 1 shot being completed while we worked on the next one.

Camera - Hasselblad H5D
Lens - Hasselblad HC50-110mm, HC35mm, HC80mm
Exposures varied from 3 secs up to 20 secs
