Fundación Torre-Saura

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

A non-profit foundation based in Ciudadela, Menorca, Spain, has inherited a large amount of real estate in this beautiful island from the late Count of Torre-Saura. Named after this figure, the purpose of the Fundación José María de Olives y de Ponsich, Conde de Torre-Saura, in short form Fundación Torre-Saura, is managing this unique heritage and granting social assistance to those people in need.
I have been kindly asked to design a logo that represents the foundation.
A BIT OF CONTEXT: THE TORRE-SAURA PALACE

One of the most remarkable pieces of property the foundation holds now, is the Palacio of Torre-Saura. Located in a privileged spot in the main square of Plaza del Born, it is probably the biggest and most iconic piece of neoclassical arquitecture in the island of Menorca.

Fun fact, it was in this noble house where queen Elizabeth II stayed when she visited Menorca, and the chair she used to sit on, is still preserved there, facing the wall, without having been used ever since.
AND SO IT BEGGINS...

By outlining the contoures and silhouettes of this striking picture, the result is actually quite elegant.
Moreover, the foundation's board of directors have kindly advised the logo should contain the coat of arms located above the spectacular main entrance to the palace, a pohtograph of which I cannot provide due to copyright.
