RETAIL & LEISURE PROJECT
Windmills architectural interior design.
The project idea , is the reconversion of 3 antique windmills out of use , located near Bay of Palma at Majorca Island, into touristic information offices and travel agencies.
Concept idea is that interior design must collaborate without damage the original structure , and keeping the windmills as its own nature , fusing the past with the present and representing his important relation with the wind and the sea.
Corten Steel is used to merge and fuse with the original sand-stone walls , creating the spaces and the furniture along the windmills.
Reflective Inox steel and tempered glass , brings the "mediterranean sea" into the windmills design creating fluid spaces , and lights reflections .
