Product presentation using PBR render and scan

It is a private initiative. I was wondering how much the expensive equipment used for photo sessions could be replaced when presenting products with a large number of variants, using a PBR render.
I used an very accurate 3d scan of the physical glasses I borrowed from a friend. This is a 1:1 mapping  complemented by hand-modeled lobbies and screws. Materials are PBR and simple but effective.
Render was made with physically based, path tracing renderer. I used Blender and few programs for point cloud processing and cleaning.
I am particularly pleased with this frame. It captures what I wanted to convey the most - it is clean as a render and realistic enough to convince the eye of most people, at the same time. In my opinion its ideal for post / webpage.
The main benefits of replacing a photo session with computer graphics are the ability to place the object in any environment and to create product variations almost effortlessly.
Creating interactive 360 renders for pages is definitely easier and comes out much better than with a rotating table and camera.
(Animation has been rendered with more "consumer hardware tier - friendy" approach)
