Insurgente é um grupo de pesquisas da Faculdade de Filosofia e Ciências Humanas da UFMG. O Insurgente se inspira e se engaja nos pressupostos dos estudos identificados com a crítica às diversas formas de colonialidades do saber e do poder, manifestas em produtos e processos comunicacionais, midiáticos ou não, em interconexões com as redes textuais.

Insurgente is a research group from the Faculty of Philosophy and Human Sciences at UFMG. O Insurgente is inspired and engaged in the assumptions of studies identified with the criticism of the various forms of coloniality of knowledge and power, manifested in communicational products and processes, media or not, in interconnections with textual networks.
Esta identidade visual tinha um propósito: mostrar união e ao mesmo tempo luta/revolução. Foi assim que saí com a ideia do círculo. Ele traz essa ideia de união e tem uma pegada de fita de moebios onde duas pontas se unem e criam um efeito infinito.

This visual identity had a purpose: to show union and at the same time struggle/revolution. That's how I came up with the circle idea. It brings this idea of union and has a moebios ribbon where two ends come together and create an infinite effect.
A cor foi fundamental para trazer o conceito de luta/revolução. O vermelho agressivo que segue um degradê dentro do círculo trás a ideia de luta, sangue, mas não em um sentido negativo, no sentido de uma revolução por mais direitos e igualdade, um vermelho apaixonado e robusto que mostra que coisas melhores virão.

The Color was fundamental to bring the concept of struggle/revolution. The aggressive red that follows a gradient inside the circle brings the idea of struggle, blood, but not in a negative sense, in the sense of a revolution for more rights and equality, a passionate and robust red that shows that better things will come.
Em contraste do vermelho, foi usado um azul bem escuro para complementar a identidade da marca. Este azul cria um contraste com o vermelho e trás diversas possibilidades de aplicações da marca junto com o logo.

In contrast to the red, a very dark blue was used to complement the brand identity. This blue creates a contrast with the red and brings several possibilities of brand applications along with the logo.
