Opening Title Sequence
A motion graphic project for my video graphics class in IED Milano. Our brief was to recreate, using Adobe After Effects, any opening title sequence of our choice. For my project, I chose Sherlock; a 4 Season TV series by BBC.
The soundtrack for my project remains the same as the original; since it was very iconic already.
My main goal was to add as many motifs that appeared throughout the series as I could. Black and white are the only colours present, however I overlayed paper textures inorder to give it a more organic feel.
Motifs present in my opening sequence: Big Ben, London, Sherlock, Watson, Yorick
(Sherlock's skull friend), "I O U" Apple, Pistol & Bullet and Sherlock's Violin.
