BUNGISNGIS
Known as a burly one-eyed man that is always laughing, the Bungisngis is classified as a giant in the book "The Creatures of Philippine Lower Mythology" by Maximo Ramos. As a creature of immense stature, it has the strength to effortlessly carry any animal in the Philippines. Ironically, the Bungisngis can also be easily startled and outsmarted.

In the Tagalog language, the word "ngisi" means "to show teeth".
