EN Some works made through the years with digital technique. In the one entitled "Simple Pollution" I combine traditional illustrative technique with digital. The kitten was illustrated 100% with colored crayons!

ES Algunos trabajos elaborados a través de los años con técnica digital. En el titulado "Simple Pollution"combino técnica ilustrativa tradicional con digital. ¡El gatito fue ilustrado 100% con creyones de colores!  

EN As evidenced by my posts, I am a huge fan of the Nightwish band. Their wonderful music and style caught me in the year 2000. They had just released their third album "Wishmaster". I adored Tarja Turunen! (Who doesn't?...) "From Wishes To Eternity" (DVD) was a wonderful live consecration of their first three studio albums, which I had already quickly purchased from Amazon and loved. Then a very nice EP came out that generated an even greater expectation in me: "Over The Hills And Far Away" (2001), which tried to give a space to make the next album, "Century Child" (2002), the fourth In his ascending career, he will arrive at the right time. I ordered it for the first time from an online store in Germany, which offered me a very nice limited edition, autographed by all 5 members and with the VCD that included the promotional video for the song "Over The Hills And Far Away". I loved that album and Marco Hietala's shocking appearance as a new singer and bass player so much that I made this poster design with each member's own promotional photos that were uploaded on their official website! Looking through my backups, I was very nostalgic and happy to discover that this splendid album (and the poster I designed) is 22 years old...!

ES Como lo evidencian mis publicaciones, soy un gran fan de la agrupación Nightwish. Su maravillosa música y estilo me atrapó en el año 2000. Acababan de lanzar su tercer álbum "Wishmaster". ¡Adoraba a Tarja Turunen! (¿Quién no?...) "From Wishes To Eternity" (DVD) fue una maravillosa consagración en directo de sus primeros tres discos en estudio, los cuales ya había adquirido rapidamente por Amazon y me encantaron. Luego salió un EP muy agradable que generó en mí una expectativa aún mayor: "Over The Hills And Far Away" (2001), el cual intentaba dar un espacio para lograr que el próximo disco, "Century Child" (2002), el cuarto en su ascendente carrera, llegara en el momento justo. Lo ordené por primera vez a una tienda online en Alemania, que me ofreció una edición limitada muy bonita, autografiada  por los 5 integrantes y con el VCD que incluía el video promocional del tema "Over The Hills And Far Away". ¡Adoré tanto ese disco y la impactante aparición de Marco Hietala, como nuevo cantante y bajista que me hice este diseño de afiche con las propias fotos promocionales de cada integrante que subían a su página web oficial! Al mirar en mis respaldos, me dio mucha nostalgia y alegría al descubrir que este espléndido disco (y el afiche que diseñé) ¡cumplen 22 años...!

EN In 2011, a brilliant blogger had the idea of ​​compiling 12 songs whose rock theme was related to mermaids. He made its respective cover, titling it: "Siren's Collection" (He used an illustration made by the British Anne Stokes), explaining as it should be, his fascination with these mythical beings and how they have inspired so many artists in their creations. I was not the exception. Those specially chosen songs secretly seduced me. He also chose some bands that are my favorites like Nightwish, Therion and Sirenia. And my subconscious was collecting from the Internet, very special images of the ocean, of corals, of a threatening blue shark, of a lady proudly showing the camera her beautiful specimen that she had just caught fishing somewhere in Alaska. The model, Christy Turlington, (who turned out to be photographed holding some vines, all exotic and wild, naked, and curiously half-length), was the final piece of my creative puzzle.

ES En el 2011, a un blogero brillante se le ocurrió recopilar 12 canciones cuya temática rockera tuviera relación con las sirenas. Le realizó su respectiva cubierta, titulándola: "Siren´s Collection" (Usó una ilustración hecha por la británica Anne Stokes), explicando como debe ser, su fascinación por estos seres míticos y cómo han inspirado a tantos artistas en sus creaciones. Yo no fui la excepción. Esas canciones especialmente escogidas me fueron seduciendo en secreto. Además eligió algunas bandas que son mis favoritas como Nightwish, Therion y Sirenia. Y mi subconsciente fue recopilando de Internet, imágenes muy especiales del océano, de corales, de un amenazador tiburón azul, de una señora mostrando con orgullo a la cámara su hermoso ejemplar acabado de pescar en alguna parte de Alaska. La modelo, Christy Turlington, (quien resultó estar fotografiada sujetando unas lianas, toda exótica y salvaje, desnuda, y curiosamente a medio cuerpo), fue la pieza final de mi rompecabezas creativo.

EN "The Siren´s Treasure" (2022), is the continuation of my first digital illustration created in 2011, based on this mythical character. The legend of the sirens is one of the most popular and oldest. Initially they were described as half woman half bird beings. Her beauty and charm was associated with her vocal perfection, which the sailors were not able to resist. My fascination with them came through songs and musical groups that have worshiped them, and in some cases, claimed their dangerous reputation.

ES "El Tesoro de la Sirena" (2022), es la continuación de mi primera ilustración digital creada en 2011, basada en este mítico personaje. La leyenda de las sirenas es una de las más populares y antiguas. Inicialmente fueron descritas como seres mitad mujer mitad pájaro. Su belleza y encanto estaba asociada a su perfección vocal, de la cual los marineros no eran capaces de resistirse. Mi fascinación por ellas vino a través de canciones y agrupaciones musicales que les han rendido culto, y en ciertos casos, reivindicado su peligrosa reputación.
