A tragic death of Michael Jackson in 2009 shocked me deeply and made me re-view his life and public activity, his otherness and his tangled relationships with the society, that resulted in a series of sculpture portraits of MJ.

This particular work reflects my perception of MJ as a great giver, a man dancing his heart out and being ready to give it away at any moment to anyone who needs it. A man, who in spite of his endless giving — or maybe it's just a sad regularity? — had been cruelly crucified by the world...
